Who we are

Outstanding Tiny Desk AI is a website that turns one photo of you into a short AI-generated video of you as the lead singer in the Outstanding Tiny Desk trend. This policy explains what we collect when you use it and what we do with it.

What we collect

  1. Account information — your name and email address, and the sign-in method you use (email and password, or a Google or GitHub account).
  2. Photos you upload — the picture you choose for your video.
  3. Videos we make for you — every video generated from your photos.
  4. Purchases — which credit pack you bought, when and for how much. Card and bank details are handled by Stripe and Link; we never see or store full card numbers.
  5. Usage and device information — pages you visit, the features you use, your browser and device type, and approximate location from your IP address. We use this to keep the service running, prevent abuse and improve it.
  6. Cookies — to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and, if you allow it, measure how the site is used. You can change your choice at any time under Cookie Settings in the footer.

How we use your photos

  • Your photo is used only to make the video you ask for.
  • To make it, the photo and our template clip are sent to our AI video provider, which processes them on our behalf and returns the finished video.
  • We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models, we do not sell them, and we do not show them to anyone else. A video is public only if you download it and post it yourself.
  • Our staff look at a photo or video only when you ask for help with it, or when we need to investigate abuse of the service.

Who processes your data

We share data only with providers that help us run the service, and only what they need:

  • AI video generation — Kie.ai, which runs the video models that make your video.
  • Storage and hosting — Cloudflare, which hosts the website and stores uploaded photos and finished videos.
  • Payments — Stripe, and Link (a service of Stripe), which sells the credit packs as merchant of record. They receive your payment details, email and billing address to take the payment, handle tax and send your receipt.
  • Sign-in — Google or GitHub, if you choose to sign in with them.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our users, our service or our rights.

How long we keep it

  • Photos and videos are deleted automatically 7 days after the video is made. Until then you can download the video from My videos. After that, only a record that a video was made (its date, quality and cost) stays in your account history.
  • Account and purchase records are kept while your account is open, and purchase records for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
  • To delete your photos or videos sooner, or your whole account, contact us through Support on this site. We delete them within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.

Children

The service is for adults only. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and photos of minors must never be uploaded.

Security

All traffic to the site is encrypted, and access to stored files and the admin tools is restricted. No service can be completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you if a breach affects you.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, download or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can object to how we use it. Contact us through Support and we will answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you on the site or by email.
